Monthly Events

Attention Students:
Elite Martial Arts & Lewis' TaeKwonDo operates year-round and follows the holiday and weather closings for the Carteret County School System unless otherwise posted. We will not close for 2 hour delays or teacher workdays.  All Tae Kwon Do and Jiu Jitsu class will meet at their regularly scheduled class times unless otherwise posted.  Class Schedule Effective December 1, 2011.


TaeKwonDo classes and Lil' Dragons Karate classes are available on a first come, first serve basis. Elite Martial Arts & Lewis' TaeKwonDo operates year-round and offers "continuous enrollment" so that you may join at any time during the year.  Lil' Dragon Classes are 30 minute classes.  Kids and Adult classes are 45 minute classes.

All students are grouped according to age and experience level. Call or email us today to schedule a free trial lesson and experience our exciting classes in action for yourself!

Cold weather is here!
It's getting dark outside early and with the cold weather here, kids are playing outside less.  Don't let your child be a victim of boredom. Take a break from the TV & video games and have some fun with us here at Lewis' Tae Kwon Do & Elite Martial Arts! Our students have fun while learning important life skills that promote academic success! Our martial arts program will get your child active, help them focus, teach them self-discipline and give them the confidence they need to succeed!

Down East Martial Arts in Otway

Located inside Snap Fitness in Otway (Across from Dollar General)

All Otway classes meet on Friday afternoons
Lil' Dragons Ages 4 - 6 meet at 5:30
Kids Ages 7 - 10 meet at 6:00
Kids Ages 11 & Up meet at 7:00

All Down East students are invited and encouraged to attend Rank Testings and Super-Spar classes at Lewis' Taekwondo in Morehead City.

Beaufort Martial Arts

Located inside Eastern Athletic Club

Lil' Dragons Ages 4 - 7 meet at 3:30 on Friday afternoons
Kids Ages 8 - 12 meet at 4:00 on Friday afternoons
Teens & Adults Ages 13 & Up meet at 7:15 on Monday afternoons

All Beaufort students are invited and encouraged to attend Rank Testings and Super-Spar classes at Lewis' Taekwondo in Morehead City.  As the program grows we hope to add an additional day of training to our schedule. 


We are now registering for Beaufort classes!
Kids Classes start on Friday, February 3rd!
Teens & Adults classes start on Monday, February 6th!
